Create a text message with the word SETTINGS

Send the text message to the number 3888

§ 
You won’t be charged for this SMS and if your
mobile device supports automatic internet settings, MTN will send you the
internet settings in no time

Immediately you receive the internet settings,
you’re required to save them so that you don’t need to attempt any manual
settings before you can start browsing the internet

Explore the network settings of your smartphone

Use MTN WEB as the Account Name

Don’t fill anything in the field implying Port

Leave the username

as the APN (Access Point Name)

Use 10.199.212.2 as the IP address

Input the number 9201 in the Port field

Use the word web for both username
and password

Set web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
as the APN (Access Point Name)
